Global Education Access
GVF is committed to reaching individuals facing economic barriers to enable access to international educational opportunities in conservation and conservation education, biodiversity stewardship, and sustainability practices and/or policy. Access to these experiences is fundamental in the global effort to protect our planet
Please note that GVF only funds 501(c)(3) organizations offering conservation and/or sustainability education programming for developing countries and minority-serving schools in the U.S. We do not fund individuals directly.

Field Schools
GVF strongly believes you “have to go there” to truly understand the complexities involved in protecting the planet’s biodiversity. GVF supports U.S. university student participation in well-run field schools in geographical areas with high levels of biodiversity threatened by human activity (i.e., biodiversity hotspots).
